Anybody?.. Anything on the B52? Might be able to get a deal on one(with 2081)...

Herrsavage 02-12-2013 12:08 AM

Is it possible to get an Argus .23 from anywhere other than New Zealand?

Plenty of Alpha A352's floating around on fleabay, pretty much exactly the same engine.

Like the black head better... (and maybe a better price..)

If anyone is looking for a backup engine I have a a52 listed in the for sale thread
It has 2 gallons on it, runs great an has great compression.

Set the idle gap at .7 mm and retune the lsn to get the right idle speed. Also flameouts can happen from a clutch shoe hanging from a broken spring, bad clutch bearing. Also what plug are you using?

Anyone know where I can get a high speed needle valve holder. I snapped mine on my A52 tightening it.

Herrsavage 08-23-2013 11:41 PM

What's this red-headed Argus R8 all about? See it on ebay.co.uk - pricey for an Argus.. What is it exactly? I've really liked my A52, so I still have a bit of sentimental loyalty to the brand...

It looks like it has the filled crank, new backplate similar to the Lutz/ Dragon engines.
