I chose the OS plug based on having them locally. I have heard the Voodoo #5 last a long time in these engines. My OS P3 plug has lasted well too. Used the same plug from break in and for two race weekends. I did replace it this past weekend but that plug had almost a gallon on it.
I am going to try a Voodoo #5 soon as I have heard such good things. |

Thanks, do you guys find that OS P3 plugs are fragile I mean last race I was using it in another engine with max temp of 250, the plug only lasted for that race, after that the performance is degrading especially on the idle side. With this engine I wanted to try a little bit colder plug like OS P6. What do you guys reckon?
That would be a good start anyway |

geez, no response from the experts yet? Try the odonnell 97t if you can get them.

Not worth the argument.....

stay away from the OFNA T series plugs. They are less than desirable with an average life span of about a quart or 2

That would be a good start anyway I am not an Os plug fan but I have been told the p4 is almost as hot but the wire is thicker and will last longer. Rex |

blew my tires!
omg i cant wait to race this mill. break in is done and race tune is sooo close to on! i smoked my back tires already! love it! also you can run this mill with the rb 2045 pipe, although it does make it tune sensitive in my oponion.

Can you guys give your Tune set up for 25-30% nitro? I mean HSN and LSN, how many turns out from fully in?
Thanks. |
A good starting point is hsn flush and lsn in 1 1/2 turns and idle gap at .7mm. You should need to lean the top some at the track from that point.

+1 Our out here are close to that as well 11/2 in on LSN and 1 turn in on HSN from flush race tuned with 2081, Voodo #5 plug and Werks 30%. We have had great luck with the Voodo plugs so far.
Thanks, Lance RcRenew |
Those setting are form flush needles turn in. I just saw you asked for how many turn out. Just wanted to clarify:)
