I keep my shoes 3/4 turn apart. This works best for me in truggy. Back screws out til they stop, then i use 1.75, 2.50, 3.25 turns in. When the 1st shoe starts to wear swap settings with the 3rd shoe. This will allow all shoes to wear evenly. Sometimes, depending on grip, i start with 1.5 but still keep a 3/4 turn spacing between shoes. These settings are to my liking, might not be best for the masses.

Rob. I just ran my MP9 on the road with a BUKU clutch. After about 2 minutes I thought exactly what you are saying. Whatever CRE is doing with this new version of P5 is unbelievable.
I also limited my throttle travel to about 65-70% open area of the 7mm restrictor. No notable difference in a 75-100 yard run. Could only notice it if I wound it out for about 150 yards. I'm thinking I will get better mileage, as on this carb the LSN does not protrude out at these settings, thus limiting fuel flow (probably unwanted fuel flow).
I'm going to try it on the track, as is, and then probably go to the brass flywheel to harness some of this crazy power!!!!!!! I'm loving it!

What video camera are you using? I need a head mount like that.

I'm good on my break in now. I've got amazing compression and no discernable mechanical pinch when the temp is above 160. Time to get it to the track!!

Also, fill us in on the CRE Blend Bones Brew. Now that my break in is complete I'm going to use up the gallon of Byron's ProDriver 3000 G2 that I have and switch to the Bones. Neal says that I can pick it up in N. IL. to save on shipping, where exactly can it be picked up?

Bill, keep us updated on your findings with your P5 if you don't mind.

how is she running so far buddy ?, did you put any more fuel thru since we talked....
and yes Novas has now decided the largest inset needed is a 7mm...stupid idea if you ask me, small venturi's don't work like people think they do..get no better mileage from a 5 mm then you get from a 8 mm, except with the 5 mm you lose power and narrow the tuning window.....

Would you recommend finding an 8mm insert?
