I see the new Picco Boost 3TR has been upgraded looks as if they have now made it to rev a little more..... Just wish now they made the engines available with out the pipe like the EDO mills....

RC Mushroom still have a few EDO 5Port .21 if you are interested....They also have the 3 portTR Boost....
Well its taken me 12 months to get around to this... This little Boost has around 30ltrs on it and still going....
Picco boost 3 port TS with Gotech 2072 pipe.... lol the back end is a litte loose but you will see why at the end...

I have found RC Mushroom best for Picco gear and they will order if you need something and they don't have it... They have a hand full of EDO Modified engines left and im going to grab another for the spares shelf as these little baby's are no longer being done for off road they are being replaced with the Boost 5PT... I have just rebuilt this engine and heading to the track tomorrow for a few more tanks once run in ill get some video of the two different pipes as they are night and day in performance... Want to try the JP4 on the EDO as well.

good day folks, I am using Picco Boost .21 engine for my buggy,
Intially I had used a Gallon of 20% nitro, later used a bit less then gallon of 25%
recently someone told me to use 10% nitro as this will help with long life of engine.
Since I am still new bie and do not necessary care about winning races, and our track is also medium sized and little bumpy,
my question would it be ok to shift to 10% if this help me improve my engine life at expense of little performance I am ok with it?
The manual say to remove .1 MM shim if i were to use 10%, this is belive is one goes right above sleeve and there are two more shims under the button head.
Please advise. Thanks

Our little picco boost has had around 30 ltrs on it and all i had done was change the rod out, We run 30% and i would say by the amount of pop left in the P/L we may see another 20 ltrs before we need to give the sleeve a pinch and good to go again.
You will not gain much if any by dropping nitro %, Like stated above keeping the dirt out and well maintained will give your Picco more life....

You guys seen this?
The new "Picco P6"..:
http://www.teampicco.com/index.php?o...218&Itemid=521
Picco seems to have gone down hill in the last year or so... LRP now uses OS, Orion no longer has a Picco-based engine like the old CRF, Nosram and Jammin are maybe discontinued?.., etc.. And the Boost - though it does look good in that video above - is just not very popular with all the Alphas and Go's and co out there.. So what's up with Picco then?
