The older boost had different carb than the new ones. Which carb do you have, Long LSN or short LSN?

remove the carburetor, look underneath at the opening. Slowly close the idle gap with the idle screw until there is no opening then stop just when the opening is gone. Now go 1.5 turns in on the idle screw.

Here are pictures of a Race tuned boost carburetor ( long low speed needle model) Keep in mind your tuning will not be exactly the same on hte HSN and LSN due to location, fuel plug etc.. but this is a good reference .

Thanks,
Lance

To make it easy, both carbs are near flush on the high speed and low speed needles.

Default 3 ts boost info

anybody running the 3ts boost? looking for any feedback at all, runtime, power delivery, tunning characteristics. just saw it nitrohouse and for the price it could be an option for my next engine.

I tested that engine some time ago and it made ok power and ok fuel milage, for the price its a good engine. The 5t will be a better option all the way around.

speaking of the 5T does anyone know when the 5T 2012 will be available in the US? I really liked my boost and would really like to try out the new one, but I can not find it anywhere.
