It would be great to see a kind of "mix-n-match" chart.

Thanks in advance....

Default P5

Hi all. I've recently rebuilt an original P5 that I have and I've typically used a 9901 on it but was asked why am I running a bottom end pipe on an engine that has plenty of bottom which was a good question. I've ran this pipe cuz its suppose to give better run time and better suited for a buggy. Can anyone offer any insight on this and why not run a high speed pipe on this particular engine?

Gentlemen.

Would a Plus 4 Team p/s fit in a normal Plus 4 (the ones with turbo head) house/bearings? Are the crank different?

Get a second opinion, but:

-the crank is different- stroke is the same

I'd use a Team p/s in a regular plus -4. I have a regular plus-4 p/s in a +4C case

Hey, I made sure to say thanks......

I hear ya though, with that many possible combinations, it could get lengthy. Heck, if it's detailed enough, maybe we can get it put as a sticky so everyone will benefit.

All plus 4 parts are interchangeable with the exception of the heads

I just picked up a R21 nitrotec engine and have read on other threads that people are stating that it takes a couple gallons for break in to be complete???Seems odd ?

I have always used the heat cycle method, any reason for me to deviate from this method on this engine???

I would break it in however works for you.The heat cycle method works fine.I have a little over a gallon on mine and its doing great.I'm getting 11-12 min a tank on an re10 pipe.
