NOVAROSSI Engine thread....

My crankshafts always stick out past the outer clutch-bell bearing.
Well...okay, I think I have one that doesn't. Anyway it's good to have a variety of shim sizes on-hand to deal with the extremely common situation where the crankshaft is a fraction of a millimeter too long or too short. I use Kyosho shims because they come in a wide variety of Metric sizes, and three different thicknesses per pack.

Lot off replys to quote so here is what I have for you.

Should I get a sand paper and sand it down where cut in the collet is, so I get these 2~mills
I have Losis washer set, these small ones are 5mm and can't quite fit inside bearing, crankshaft is showing 4.9mm
If these would squeeze in it could work

Then take your dremel and take some material off the outside of that washer until it fits inside the bearing without rubbing. That washer looks pretty thick to work correctly considering you're probably only off by .1mm or so.

any reccomendations on a venturi for the legend 28 on a truggy?
right now ive got to lean everything out as im just through break in and i wasnt even getting through a 5 min main lol that was with the 6.5
ive gone to the 8 for a bit as some have said that it gives more bottom end and ill be working the engine less requiring less fuel? well see if thats a happy medium.
the track is medium sized but has a couple larger jumps out of corners and a long back straight with a roller into a triple that youre pretty much WOT for.

Hey everyone. So I’m looking for a replacement connecting rod for my nova p5xlt 2017 edition. I found Rods online from Max power, and was wondering if they would fit. The .21 max power engines all have the same bore and stroke As my nova p5, and some European websites even state that the max power .21 rod would fit in novarossi engines and even label them as r7. . Is there any truth to this or does anyone know if the rod would fit? Thank you In advance.
