Yeah, start with O-rings for sure. Were you running the LSN pretty rich? Was it protruding past flush with the end of the slider?

The clips that hold the pin in on a btt can you also use the onroad clips they are just a c shape or do you have to use the clips with a small bend?? Cheers

I would personally use the clips with the tail to grab

Not sure that the onroad ones that you're talking about are made for the same diameter of the circlip retaining recess or not

Default Novarossi = Greatness

I just had to post my thoughts on the latest Novarossi I bought. I broke in my new Roma yesterday and it went great. I used the recomended 14% oil 6% nitro mix and ran it at around 15,000 rpm for an hour. I heated it up to around 170 f and primed it . When I fired it I didn't have to touch the needles and I set the thottle to what seemed about 1/4 and it ran around 200 degrees the whole time. This had to be the easiest breakin I have ever done.Great job to Novarossi on your engines!

Novarossi 21-5K. Engine starts up fine. runs good on the bottom and decent top. I noticed that once it warms up, when we bring it in, the idle is very very high. to the point where the clutch is engaging. temps are in the range of 215-230. can anyone give some direction?

No leaks in fuel line or tank.
Clutch springs and shoes are good.
CB bearings are good. (shimmng is fine)
Idle gap is set @ .5 or so. This was set without the venturi.
All gaskets are new.

Thank you

Try richening the low end after warm up some and if that dont help I would bump down the idle..

Question re the new P5XLT. Do the new ones come with a silver case and the old ones a black case? Just trying to work out an easy way to determine the difference before i go and order one. And the only difference from old to new is the 17011 front bearing?

Default 9886/41001 combo

I was originally dubious as to whether this combo was killing plugs really quickly. I have been running the 2096/41201 combo but went back to the 9886/41001 to try with my rb bxr and pow - blew 2 nova plugs in 200ml. I don't understand why but I am not that keen on killing $10 plugs that quickly. Anyone experienced this or heard if it?
