Very cool, thanks for posting!

I sometimes wonder why engine manufacturers continuously return to the idea of 'displacement is better' for a truggy. Most of today's .21 engines in stock form are plenty powerful with amazing run time compared to those from say 5 or so years ago. The .23, .25, and .28 race engines in recent years have suffered poor sales due to lower fuel economy and in some cases 'un-driveable' power bands.

Being a truggy only racer, over the past 3 years I've found a quality .21, correctly tuned, with the proper tuned pipe and clutch combination has yielded more consistent lap times and surprisingly respectable run times.

I'm a huge fan of Novarossi products and while I find the new .25 engine intriguing, I'm curious to see how it compares to the vast number of quality .21 engines.

Any NovaRossi experts in the house...

I recently got this engine and I really don't know or can find much info on it. It was in a sealed novarossi box and the box simply says "R21 Buggy". I've searched high and low throughout the net and the only thing I can find that it is a 3 port. Paperwork inside the box states 2010 as a production date. The silver colored head puzzles me as I've never seen a novarossi motor like this.

Dont take this as I know exactly what the engine is but I know novas fairly well and I am pretty sure it is a rex version of the n21r limited

Probly a euro rally engine

I recall seeing Novarossi Rex 3 port engines with a metal shielded front bearing a few years back that were marketed as 'rally' engines in Europe and Australia. This could be one of those engines.

That engine are no good anymore, Lowrance. Metal fatigue, risk of rusten bearings, dust in the carb etc. etc.

Ship it to me instead...
