hey guys i used to run nova engines a few years ago and got into running os engines as my nova ones were giving me the s###s with tuning
now its the other way around im having not tuning but reliability issues and run time problems with the os and now there price is uunstable here in oz so on the week end i thought id try a diffrent approach and picked up a 21-4 btt/a nova pipe and header combo for my buggy and jeez im so impressed so far
so i was thinking of droping my os motor from buggy in to truggy but im so impressed with the nova now im liking the idea of running a nova in the truggy
is there any susjestions for me for a truggy motor

One of my Clocked P5 XLT.......12 minutes plus runtimes, easy to tune, gobs of bottom end and a top end that would make most 7 ports jealous !

Whats up guys. My new Nova 4-C Team and 9901 just showed up in the mail and this is my first Nova so I have a few questions regaurding break in and running. Im going to do the bible method but am unsure on a few issues. Im running Strike Team purple, 30%. Ive seen mentioned in a few threads something about switching out the stock plug for break in? In my area I have the Odonnel plugs readily available so I should I be switching to a 97t or something else or is the factory plug good? Also after break in, for SoCal what is the prefered plug? Im coming from Orion and have never run anything but Orion plugs so I have no clue when it comes to Nova's. My next question is regaurding head shims. For 30% nitro, should I be leaving the factory shim setup alone?
For first start up, should the factory needle settings be fine or will I most likely need to adjust them and which way?
How about flushing the engine first and sealing it up?
Answers and any other prevelant info I need to know about these engines would be much appreciated. Im just always really nervous with a new engine!
Thanks!

No need to seal anything on novarossi made engines , not a bad idea to flush the engine with fresh fuel though
As far as changing the plug , I would suggest replacing stock c6tgc with 97t yes , c6tgc is a bit too cold and make break in a pain
Shims are good , if anything conservative so all is good
Check out the break in bible and a head warmer (competition heat) is definitely recommended
Hope this helps ya
