Thanks for the advice on the P3x, i decided to just go with a standard 21+4, it was only $10 more and really like my 21+4 team version.

Default Quick question!

I have been noticing my air filter has black soot on it from my R21 Nitrotec carb but not all the time just certain races/conditions. Anyway what would cause the black stuff and is it normal? I am 3gallons in running 97t at 230f Bryons 30/11%. Is it to rich or what? Different plug maybe? It runs good so maybe nothing but curious. Thanks!

No flame in buggy , servo failed
Truggy , he needed to tune

Both engines were breaking in

Default Best Plug Options.?.

Hi all Im after some advice on Glow plugs.
I have a NR P5xlt running 25% nitro 8% caster 2% synthetic.
I have been using OS.P7's as Im in the subtropics I find these plugs work ok but what would be a better option.
Most race days are 25c-32c.

Thanks in advance.

A total of 10% oil are a minimum with 25% nitro - if you run with a lot synthetic oil. I would say, you needs to change the %, so you run 8% synth and 2 % castor. Castor are great in our engines, but if you likes using all that castor, you should raise the % to e.g. 10% castor and 3% synth. What synth oil are you using?

What are you running/getting on each engine? I am in El Paso, so I was thinking the weather conditions are similar to AZ.

1) pipe/header
2) venturi size
3) fuel
4) glow plug
5) clutch setup
6) temps
7) run times

Thanks in advance.

Congrats on your Victories too.

IMO go with the Nova CtgC6 plugs or the Werks #6 plugs.

So far Werks plugs have lasted a lot longer for me vs the OD 97T, Dynamite plugs, and OS plugs. Not sure on the Nova plugs, I've only ran one and it's doing pretty well so far. Most people seem to like them.
so after running a gallon thru my new bonito which plug should i use???? do i need to remove head shims??? thanks in advance

always use C6TGC.. don't change shims.. it still may not be totally broken-in unless it was a pre-run engine..
