Some people never stop preheating their engines. Personal preference. Ask 5 people, get 4 different answers.

After 4+ months, just do it.

Every time/ forever, before you start your engine. You should ALWAYS pre heat you mill. thats if you want it to last.

i take it to not mess with the needles to start it up just the low end right?

Like I mentioned earlier, please read the first post in this thread. Ron spends a lot of time describing how to break in the b5 engine. If you follow his method, break in is very easy.

got my gas and the guy at the lhs will help me get it all set up. for the gas i got race gen 2 30 with 11%oil in it

how hot do i preheat it up to

180-200 is what i shoot for.

can you over pre heat a motor
