Just installed the engine in my RC8 and have two questions. The first is the collet that comes with it. Is it specific to the engine or the fly wheel? When I tried with the stock RC8 flywheel, the flywheel rubbed on the engine. I was going to shim it but tried the old collet and it was fine. The other question is about the header gasket. I could not get my header (JP2) to go on it. Is there a trick to it or does the JP2 have a different I.D. Sorry about the newb questions.
Oh yeah one more question concerning the break in procedure on page one. Does it matter if I left the insert in the carb? Thanks.

You normally have to use at least one shim while using associated flywheel. It wheel be very close, but all good.

Thanks Ron for the clarification of onroad plugs

Can you please tell me if the Sirio #5 are the same as the Werks #5 plugs as I'm in desperate need of some and AMain has been on back order for weeks.

thanks
Glen

Honestly I'm not sure what Trinity/Epic is spec'ing on the Sirio plugs. If you need plugs immediately you might want to go with a P3 plug for a minute.

It's quite normal to run a shim behind the flywheel if needed. Regarding the header gasket they compress when you slip a manifold over items it should be considered universal. Finaly regarding the break in allways leave the exhaust reducer in the carb, the only reason that you should ever remove it ismto replace it with another lol! Hope this helps!

Ron

Hello as I do with the length of the gas B5???

Hello, how are you, I bought a B5 Werks, I live in Venezuela, excuse my English, I wanted to know how to make my engine last longer B5 Werks before entering the pits, a law that says 10 min, but that is as the engine is configured or do I have to do something specific to last 10 minutes, I had never tested the low of this engine is impressive, much I appreciate your answer, my email is [email protected]

It rocks!!! been running that exact combo in my 6T for a month or so now... kinda ballsy for a buggy in my opinion but thats just me... might want to look at the B6 for the buggy...or be real easy on the trigger with the B5

Will work great in both. The 2035 have good power band and run time but nothing like the 2013/2058/2057 pipes. In the buggy you might want to go 1 more tooth in the CB, softer clutch springs, if you still feel too much punch in the bottom a heavy flywheel or the Werks medium clutch will help.

PNB

Big thanks to Ron for helping us team drivers at the PNB he was awsome in tuning and giving advise. Had B5 on the buggy and was out running just about everything in the stright away no flame outs and was getting about 12 min on a tank of gas. Ron is a awsome guy and can not thank him enough. :)

Ok I just wanted to say how awesome this motor is. I just took out the glo plug to clean the carb and motor out some and I was shocked. This thing still has great metal pinch and compression to it. I think it has close to 3 gal on it. Wow I am defiantly hooked on these motors. I'm just waiting for my +4 to go bad and I will be getting one for my buggy.
These motors hold a tune all day. At the last race my daughters Buggy died on the track (dead battery), and when they got it back to the pits it was purring like a kitten the whole time they said. :D

Thank you, it was a pleasure finally getting to meet some of the people that I have been interacting with on here and hanging out with you guys at the track! Glad that we got the engine working well for you and as usual, thank you for choosing to use on of our products. There are a lot of choices out there and your decision to go with us is greatly appreciated!
