Isnt it weird that my HSN is so rich? checked o-ring for leaks and all seem ok... When I got the engine I checked the factory settings and the HSN was 4 turns out from flush so:
A) I just counted wrong and it was actually 4 turns out (no way to know now)
B) There is something very weird with my tuning because my HSN is quite rich and my LSN is spot on, however im hitting 240 temps and when I lean my HS it goes to 260...

Buddy of mine had a similar issue last race. His would flame at end of straight like hsn was lean but it was above flush. Turns out he had some trash on the tip of the hsn...

Thanks guys, I have already been through the tuning guide a couple of times and im not usually a bad tuner, dont know whats going on with me right now LOL.
Im going to set everything back to flush and see what happens because at this point I just dont know what the actual problem is specifically.

if you want, you can call me over the phone with the engine running...if i can hear your engine I can help you tune it......... I would pull 1 head shim and run a Werk's #6.....

Tuning by listening to it over the phone!!!!......that's some serious skill. You're number may have to go in my speed dial, LOL!;)

I'm gonna ask this ? here, seeing as it has to do with the B5, but the ? is for Neal (Maximo)...after you perform your mods....does the B5 require a different pipe/header combo to get the best out of it....basically what i'm asking is are your mods on the B5 pipe specific?

Thanks for the offer man, Im currently in the Dominican Republic so that is going to be a bit difficult! If I keep having trouble I will try to get some video footage or something!!

Hustler777, after Neal works his magic on the B5 the pipe of choice is still the Werks 2013. Some also use the 2057, but pipe choice doen't really change with the mod's. I'm running the 2013 on the Clocked B5 in my truggy and it's insane!:nod:

Hope this helps!

I'll have Werks power in the Buggy & Truggy this weekend at the Fall Brawl race at Myrtle Beach, looking forward to some good results with the motors and alittle luck wouldn't hurt either!!!!

some engines do change pipe preference after mods, but the B5 seems to like the 2013 best before and after mods....

that there is a testament to the motors quality from the manufacturer PLUS the quality work of the modder!!!!! alot of times there's a HUGE pipe difference which scares some due to additional costs of having the proper pipe combo....but not in this case....that's rare!!!!

ron....you should hook up with neal and make up a new motor.....the B5II...or the B5R....or the B5 Spec-C....or the B5CW......or the.......lol
