Slim--What all are looking to have done to the engine? If you are planning on putting in new bearings, rod and a slight pinch it wouldn't cost much more for a new B5. Please inform me on your intentions with the rebuild and I will do my best to answer for Ron while he is in Thailand.
Thanks for the response |

Hi guys,
Im running a Werks B5 with 2013 pipe, alum clutch and 13t CB. My motor has about 16 tanks on it and has easy to break in and tune afterwards. Ive been reading about people getting around 10min a tank with this motor, I am getting 7:30 barely!! Another thing, temp is 235-240, is that ok? Is that its operating temp? It has very good power and smokes great, I run on a track with 2 veeery long straights the motor seems to top out a little too soon so I may try a 14t CB, I think I could lean it a tad but I like it in the safe zone as I have it now. Any advice? Thanks |
