Does the 2013 fit better in the Mugen Mbx6 than the 2057? Im happy with the 2057 but was thinking of ordering a 2013. I hear other people are running the jp4 with great results to.

the 2013 and the 2057 are going to fit the same in the mbx6...and its tight..lol
I run the 2013 pipe but I use a re-11 manifold I drilled out. I know some people put a slight twist or bend on the stock manifold for the Mugens but I did this and have plenty of room.

B5 stock form is great. i'm sure you'll say its better with your mod:lol:
cant wait for your stock and mod comparsion.

I guess really it depends on what a person considers necessary to make an engine better.... As well we each likely have a different perspective on what is a perfect engine..... So it is likely my modded engine would be considered better by some, and not liked as much by others...it all depends on what is being judged....... I will make the B5 faster then stock, likely a pretty big jump in power,RPM and responsiveness...We may see a slight drop on fuel mileage under some conditions, and see a slight gain in other conditions...My engine will tend to be more particular on glowplug heat range and tend to want a cooler plug....As a rule my engines tend to run cooler under high load then stock.....With my fitted piston the engine will require near zero breakin, tho this engines tolerance may already be so near perfect that lapping is not needed........I won't sit here and make all kinds of crazy claims and fancy stories, but I will promise to anyone who runs one of my modified engines that you will definitely notice my work, your engine will run crisper, pull way harder and make a much nastier exhaust note...If you have the engine in tune and running correctly you will have people come up to you and ask what your running as the exhaust note will stand out that much.....My modifications are not subtle tweaks by any means, tho don't expect to see big fancy polished cuts as my work is mainly done in areas your not likely to see unless you know what your looking for.....

I guess people is missing the point on this thread, A budget engine with a ton of power that can take you the podium, is been used by pro's in the A main with no modifications. Just out of the box, for a few in here it is too much power, and I'm still have people looking at what I have under the hood. Well, this mill is a performer :sneaky: just like it is.

I am getting 10 min on the dot with my losi 2.0 buggy, 2057, 97t, 30%. My temps are right @ 200, and my top end is great. Would it be safe to lean it out more on the HSN hoping to get another 45 seconds or so....As long as my temps stay below 240 ish?

Thanks in advance...

Most of your fuel economy should come from your LSN unless you're on a wide open track. You can gain some fuel economy by leaning the HSN, but the first step is to verify that you're LSN is as lean as it can be safely IMHO.

You will happy to know that I will be offering the B5 in my store as a stock engine ... So I will still have guys like you covered...I would actually rather sell the engines stock as it takes far less work for me..... However for those who want something stronger I will offer the B5 in a modified version.... Judging from the massive amount of good feedback I feel very confident the B5 will be a great platform to modify...

Unfortunately there is very little money to be made in modding engines these days...if I didn't love doing it I wouldn't even consider this as a business... its definitely about the passion of making something faster rather then making a buck....
