What run time improvements have you seen( if any) using exhaust gas coolers in 1/8 buggy?

Your advice is easy to take Monty, and you can bet I'll always take it. You know what? It got to bugging me about the high speed needle, when you asked where I had it set. I said I thought it was maybe 1/2 turn in from stock, never said I was wrong just said well usually they should be set about 1 1/2 to 2 turns in. I'll be damed if when I counted to find out, it was 1 1/4 in from stock settings...... http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/v...d37/landry.gif

haven't really done to much testing with these but i guarantee you will get better mileage and more even pressure from the exhaust with these . i wish jim would send me stuff to test .
happy motorin',
monty

i would be guessing but probably around a 5% increase , plus it is another item to mount under the lid;)

Hey Monty,
What's the best way to get carbon deposits off of a piston and head button?

Alan D. 05-25-2009 10:27 PM

Hey Monty are the nova plugs good again or are the OD better?
If the nova plugs are back to where they used to be which one works best on the 5kT in California weather?

Shimmed my motor to .8mm and it was flying.
