WOW !!! I just swapped to a odonnel #99 plug (from dynamite med), and from 20% blue thunder sport to byrons gen 2 25% and made some tuning adjustments and man ole man this engine opened up some. Temps are running around 240 with its best overall performance yet. Its gonna be a screamer for a 3 port. I dont know if the plug or fuel change made it so much better or if its finally starting to come alive or what, maybe all of the above, but I surely like it. Cant wait until tomorrow night !!! www.gulfcoastraceway.com here I come.

Hey Monty
You said a few pages back that you are running a NR 21-5k in your buggy. With out being too nosey or asking you to give away your race secrets, what pipe/manifold/glow-plug combo are you using? I run the same engine in my buggy. Thanks |

Monty,
So I've got a gallon and a half through the P5sx I bought from you this spring. Byrons 30/11. You made your point about the other stuff. This past Saturday it was coming off the track at 230 240 deg. Then all of a sudden it's 180 190...Hmmm. Something happened and I'm not sure what. I'm new to these car engines, and have had help with the other two engines I broke in but, alas, that help is long gone and I'm getting conflicting reports as to what's up. Still runs ok but is starting to sound a little blubbery down low. So if you would kindly point me in the right direction, post up here or better yet give me a call that would be golden. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but from studying this thread; I believe Speed37's nuts have dropped. Start leaning her out slowly. Rudy Diaz |
Fastest service in the west. Get it right here. Thanks for the call Monty, I'll let you know how things go down this Saturday.
