If the nova plugs are back to where they used to be which one works best on the 5kT in California weather?

Shimmed my motor to .8mm and it was flying.

still using odonnell plugs at the moment , they are great plugs and cheap

I'll pick up a 97T and give it a try then. Running a 77T now.

Hey Monty,
What's the best way to get carbon deposits off of a piston and head button?

you need to get to sleep frosty:lol:

very fine sandpaer (emery cloth) after you rub what you can off with a rag and denatured alcohol;)

hi!
i want to ask if the n21bf-limited has any timing difference from the n21b except the difference in rear bearing.
thanks!

different crank , it is 14mm instead of the 13mm but it really doesn't make any major performance gains . the good carburetor and better crankcase makes a difference though

the n21bf limited is a sweet engine for the price

oh,i confused because in amain's specifications i saw that it has 13mm crank too.does it has the 24064 carb?

the n21bf will actually accept a p5x crank (or plus 4 ) and conrod . it has the same carb as the p5xs .

so houston.you can't confirmed if the timings have remain the same for the first n21b,right?

about the plus 4 crank, what gains will have?
thanks!

sport cranks are not the best for high performance , the competition cranks create much more power in general throughout the whole powerband . larger crank intake, larger bore in the crank throat , more efficient fuel release out of the end of the crank . just plain more power  do i really need to say more ;)

Hey Houston,
I got a NIB novarossi n21bf 3 port hot mods (not limited) awhile back from a friend in a trade can you tell me what the head should be shimmed at for 20% or 25% also what pipe and plug works good with that motor mod or not:confused:

Thanks,

roadracer43 05-26-2009 05:12 PM

.60 = 20%, .70 = 25%, .80 = 30%

Im pretty sure thats correct. I asked once before and others have also.
