i wil give you a little tip , these bf limiteds are not normal on the inside ;)

you will be very very impressed with performance

the 2060 works fairly well on nova engines , the 053mr is great and would suggest using a ] header on it , you will not be disappointed ;)

thanks a bunch ,
monty

I am useing the ofna 053 on my bf L in an ofna 1/8 late model and it will eat tires off it. I changed fuel odo 25% gen2 and had to change plugs from odo 99 to odo 77. It just wouldn't run at all with a 99 in it was to rich even with hsn at 3 and the low at 1 to 2.5 did't want to go any leaner. The odo 77 did the trick love the odo fuel runs 100 times better then Cooper fuel.

I want to thank monty for all the useful info that he passes on to all of us, if not I would have had this engine all f up.

i apologize , the older carbs were about 2 turns for race tune on the low end

the newer carbs are about 4-4.5 or flush with linkage ball ring .

sorry bro

i need some help with my FMS....all of a sudden it wont run right.it bogs on the lowend for about 2 feet then takes off....i have tried everything i know to do. changed front bearing..all kinds of clutches checked for air leaks. i get the Hsn perfect and the lsn just right and is still bogs on the bottom like the clutch is dragging or is it to lean..then it will go dead in the air...or on the straight as soon as you let off...but it will fire up right away every time....ANY ideas at all. thanks

did you change the pipe ? pipe might have got messed up or pressure nipple got plugged

temps still in the same range as they were before the problem started ?

are plugs looking good ?

you know it is very hard to solve these issues over the pc but i try

if you want me to solve the problem , send it here , no charge for you except for shipping to and fro :)

Yea i know......it has been whipping me. i am going to try a different carb this afternoon..it is the older Nova with short needle. the pipe is fine..i tried adding a shim..nothing different plug and nothing still. it idles great and has plenty of smoke...i am going to talk to Chris at Fusion today (my son Zachary runs for them) and see. i just dont want it to be something simple and i look stupid you know. thanks for the help

I'm running the Dynamite 053 with the header from the OFNA 053, only reason being is that the stinger on the OFNA isn't reinforced, the Dyn is.

Isn't one of those pipes a 2 chamber and the other a 3 chamber? I think it's back in this thread a few pages. If my computer here at work wasn't so friggin slow I'd go back and check. 15 seconds per page to load. Uggghh.

What's a funny car without a powerhouse engine? Fastest guy at our strip is running .1.8 @ 74.9 mph, I gotta top that!
