Anybody thinking about buying one , shouldn't hesitate !!!

Are you guys gonna offer different clutch materials ? Like a carbon shoe , 7075 and 6061 material ? Just curious.

Carbon has been looked into. As for other shoes made of another aluminum nothing is out of the question. But right now it is not possable to have the carbon shoes made at a price that is cost effective enought to have them produced.

The reason we have not asked the Mfg to produce any other clutch shoes is becasue we have found that you can adjust this clutch enough with the springs to fit any track. So it has no been needed.

Machined carbon ;-)

Same machine as the aluminum , kyosho has a pretty sweet carbon shoe as well as fioroni

Food for thought

Hey Monty, What would cause a flame out at the end of a long straight? My 21-5K done it 3 times in a row:cry: My pit man didn't fuel me after warm-ups for the main and I ran out at 7.5 mins after about 6 mins of practice, Then refuled and got back out, came to the end of a long hi-speed straight, tapped the brakes to turn the car in and hit the gas and it flamed out. restarted it 2 more times and it did the same thing in the same spot. And no it's not bearings or something in the car it has to by my tune, A guy at the track helped(maybe hurt) me tune it and I think it's lean on bottom with a low idle .
Oh, and I took the 5.5mm restrictor out and put the 7.5 one in, WOW what power:tire: Running a Novarossi 6 gold plug, and it was indoors and about 40-45°
And one more thing How would the PX5 you did for me work in a buggy?
Thanks joe

you probably popped the plug after you ran out of fuel

i really dont like what the novarossi plugs do , that is one of the symptons :D

a low idle definitely can definitely cause the engine to stop :lol:;)
retuned after restrictor change? :confused::D
you should have to richen the lsn about 3 hours , open the idle about 1/8th turn and richen the top about 2 hours going from 5.5 to 7.5 , maybe even a little richer than that .

try to put an odonnell plug ih there!

monty

Only hope would be GRP ramps up and starts producing parts again which isn't out of the realm of possibility...there's been rumor's of it.

100 plugs are good plugs and work well for most all novarossi engines.

RcRick 01-18-2010 02:11 AM
