Hey Monty, just nearing the end of my first break in gallon +4C I got from you. I find my HSN at least a turn in from flush to get it to clear out....its puking rich around flush. I read that I should be around flush with this carb?????? I temp around 210-230, and am still taking it easy on the straights.

On the LSN I am around flush, any more lean and my idle "races up". But it almost seems like it needs to be leaner, getting some load up after low-mid throttle sections when I need to get WFO again.

I figured I would use a 12% oil 30% sidewinder fuel for the first breakin gallon. I am @ 5000ASL

Thanks!

Stuart

Probably the typical, lean top rich bottom routine Stuart

needle settings are approx. Starting points, not necessarily exact settings, especially for where you are running at :weird:

if the engine loads up to the point of a serious bog after sitting for 20sec then the lsn is definitely too rich.

Thanks, I wont sweat it then....I will just lean my LSN to the "high idle", and then lower my idle screw. Is that what I should shoot for?

Oh yea, which insert is best for all around use? and what conditions would call for an insert change from the "all around choice"

DYN 086 pipe

Thanks again LOL

buggy i would say plus 21-4c team or X7

pair either with 9901ss/41021 and you are dialed all summer long ;) i would recommend maintenance after 4 gallons or at least a check up by the doc :D

you wont disappointed in your decision to purchase a novarossi engine or engines manufactured by novarossi

lmk if you need anything

is the x7 the new toro nero?
been reading about the fms but may be too much for buggy with good run time.

I would like to clear up that the x7 is not a novarossi production engine and is designed by jim hottinger and myself , tested by me , they are not anything like toro nero or fms , guaranteed!

You will see when customer feedback comes in what people think if them ;)

I am pleased with the x7 , that's all I am going to say :D
