weird , its working now

i would say do not use clamp pinchers but they are your engines , they make the sleeve out of round ;)

cordarrow 02-09-2011 06:19 PM

Rings clamps = instant death.....the best pinchers with the best tooling won't be able to save it...

May save a race if you sucked dirt in the qualifier and didn't bring a back up...squeeze it, run it, pitch it.

cordarrow 02-09-2011 06:23 PM

This tool will prolong the life of the worn out P/S set that you will otherwise throw away.
Pretty much says it all....

houston 02-09-2011 10:03 PM

If I need a p/s set fixed it goes to the one the only [email protected]

He has done phenomenal work for me over the years

I have just received another piston/sleeve set back from ray that had been previously resized by a person I would rather not name and needless to say it was not exactly up to standards but ray did a badass job of fixing it!

This is no joke , don't hesitate to give ray a try and ask for "houston specs"

Quick question for U Monty! D u prefer the short manifold in truggy on the p5. the toro, plus 4 and the fms as opposed to the long manifold or the 41005 manifold with the 9853 or the 2084?:nod:

dueld 02-12-2011 06:08 PM

Hi, I want to check the crank pin measurements. What are they suppose to be and how far off can they be before i have to replace the crank? Thanks!

Truggy pretty much always the 41021

Anything smaller than 4.92mm is not worth a new rod imo, or questionable if out of round more than .04mm

Btw , the X7 is awesome!

Tried a few different crank configurations and 2084ss as well as 9853ss ,i like the 9853ss :D

And there is almost no cell service at the track, sorry guys
