I have a good question to ask all engine companys are looking for the best of two worlds with engine power lowend torque and top end speed . how hard would it be to come up with a exhaust valve, like the 2 stroke skidoo snowmobile engines . watercraft and the older dirt bike engines. works by spring pressure with the slide in the exhaust port , small port for lowend, the slide opens with exh pressure and fully opens for top end and make it adj with diff spring rates or a adj cap. just wondering been thinking about trying to make something work .:D
That is a very good question and one i am suprised i had not thought of as i exclusivley work with Rotax engines and know how good these systems are It,s not just the low & high end power benifit but it greatly improves fuel economy also.. Hmmm ;) Dave |

Monty
Monty, Please can you tell me a good top & bottom end setting for a p5xlt with a 9901ss pipe and 41029 header. I have a 6.5mm venturi installed at the moment as i need the best mileage possible. If you think another venturi would be better please let me know. Im running a losi eight 2.0 buggy.
Thanks;) |
