My engine has bout 2 gallons on it and it runs fine but it will ghost flame out for no reason sometimes. I also feel it could use a little more bottom and top end. Love the engine thou. Im running the 9901 pipe and 41021 mainfold. Since Im on the east coast what is the usual turn around time on a pinch when I need it.

if you work on your own engines i would say send it to rayaracing , if you dont and you need me to check the engine out for ya and give it a clean bill of health send it here . there is about a week and a half shipping involved in the whole process and i have a ton of engines to work on atm

lmk what you wanna do

Are you still running the OD Plugs or are you running the Nova plugs now?

hambone 06-20-2011 06:39 AM

Monty, thanks for head shim info on the toro team. Nice being able to call someone from the track that knows nova engines. Shimmed it to .6mm, had him put a #6 plug in and made him dump out the blue thunder 20% (lmao!) crap he was running. He won the b and bumped up. Motor ran like a champ. He and his dad were happy campers and they appreciated your help.

Been running c5tgc for the most part and they have been working so I am happy

Odonnell plugs are good but nova plugs are just a little better and last alot longer

Ya like I said they missed the mark on shimming the toro engines with the different stroke
