ask around , let the guys who have p5xlt HT versions give you their descriptions on power/reliabilty/runtime and so on . i try not to do too much tootin' of the ol' horn , its unbecoming IMO

i put a P5xlt in a buggy with the 053 pipe and boy does it have power!
I went with this combo because I wanted a torque machine and my RC8B weighs about the same as a truggy!

Default IMO

The p5 is an awesome engine. It really does great on small to medium sized tracks, most of what I run on...But the toro team is really nice on medium to large tracks. The p5 is probably the best all around motor, but on certain tracks that Toro is muy bueno....

You are good to go , always preeheat and do not run blubbering rich , keeep temps between 190-210 for a little while then don't be afraid to get it up to in between 235-265 .

Lmk how you like it

You bustin' my chops now?

Just fine , cranks are drying (ten days for full cure)

Lots of p5xlt , plus 21-4 team and FMS engines if anyone is looking

Also headers will be here soon , they are finally on the way

Happy motorin',

Monty,

How much does your Houston Tuned Service wake up a N21R? Is it worth doing to a "economy" engine like that?

Also, have you shipped that head to me?

Thanks,

Scott

A Houston Tuned P5XLT has awesome power! It has super torque for a truggy yet is smoooth and makes for a perfect race engine in my opinion. I am also getting 10+ minutes of run time. To top it all of you get the quality, reliability, and durability of a Novarossi. I've compared it to the Toro Nero and a He's P5XLT has similar top end and everywhere else there is no comparing to the P5's torque.
