What's going on across the pond. A bunch of big name drivers leaving Novarossi. And earlier this year one of the big wigs leaving. What's happening

Default 17011 Bearing

Monty, since you're in the Nova loop, i have a question on this bearing. I understand it to be the best steel front bearing, but my question/concern is the 6.3mm depth compared to the 6.0mm my engines come with. That's .012" and is it just the added thickness to the outer race or is the inner race thicker also. Just wondering what it does to crankshaft endplay. Why the xtra .3mm, for the double outer seal? Thanks, Rob Hamm.

it is just for the inner race so you don't need spacer behind flywheel

Ok, never had to use a spacer. Maybe that's just a losi flywheel thing. Just so i understand, the inner race protrudes out the front an xtra .3mm? I still have 2 nova based engines, The old trusty JP FX21 B8 and a RB C6 USA. The RB had too much thrust play in the crank for my liking and this sounds like the perfect fix. Rod starting rubbing the backplate a little much. I need to put a front bearing in my B5 and wanted to make sure it will work. Thanks for your help and if you get time pm me the 17011 cost. I will need 2. Thanks again.

I hear ya brother. I moved back earlier in the year myself and never thought I had so much junk. I'd rather slam my weenie in a sliding glass door than move and especially help someone else...now that's even worse.

Quoted from neobuggy. Back in April we covered the departure of former head Federico Barchi from Novarossi - perhaps this was an early signal of times changing once again at the Italian engine giant.

Federico has been out of the loop and on the go for a little while already
