8" minimum for fuel line and pressure line ?

Engine tune should not make the engine run rich in the beginning and lean at the end of the tank but hey sometimes there are those unexplainable situations

Possibly grossly over rich low end?

Thanks, yeah it is a litle rich on the bottom, I will try and lean out.

Is it neccesary to have 8inch of fuel line when there is i filter on? Or is it better without the filter?

I get many many calls from people who get really frustrated and say there engine will not run , tune in and changes tune constantly . We discuss many things and they have almost all found that they had tank issues , 100% of these cars have been one or the other of those brands

That's all I am gonna say

I can't speak on the Mugen tank, but the D8 fuel tank comes with cheap fuel line that ataches the clunk to the tank. It has been known to develop a leak. Some people just replace the line from the start. But that kind of leak may not show up in the pressure test you would use to find a leak.

the stone cracks where it meets up to the plastic on the inside of the tank , its been addressed and i believe they are fixing it if it has not already been done

super rich first part of the tank until it gets a little airspace and then it will go from lean to rich to lean to rich depending on the angle of the car and fuel level in the tank , very frustrating im sure

ok just to clear things up.

i have them both already and i need a 3rd one for the WC (main engine)

My Plus 4 is fairly old now with many many gallons, national and international races on it. still won the Middle east truggy championship with it.

My H.E.S P5 has around 3 gallons through it and still in great shape. Won the National Buggy title with it and back to its box. but i do need a 3rd engine for the WC.

cheers

Ali
