Hey Monty,
I just picked up a p5xs that needs rebuilt, but before I send it anywere I want to check the specs on the crank.
What kind of numbers am I looking for on the rod pin and were the main and outer bearing ride? In MM or inches, either one will work.
Also, The rod that is in the motor and the extra one that came with a 4 on the wrist pin side and R on the crank end. Is this the XS or just the P5?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

any measurement under 4.92mm on the crank pin or out of round more than
.04mm is borderline and would go in my junk pile for the guy who needs a free crank at the track

the r4 rod is just as good as the r7 11th edition rod :D

So:

77t the hottest, then 97T, 87T and then 99T (cold)?

An order

Mr. Montey, I just recieved my front bearing in the mail and wanted to thank you for the super quick shipping, will be seeing you again, thinking of getting a t21bf for my son, he is getting into nitro with me, cool. I have no experience with this engine, is it a good mill?

Monty,

Breakin is going well on the Houston Tuned P5XLT, 1/2 gallon through it so far, runs well, temps look good. Hope to have a gallon through before the weekend.:)

I noticed on the head it says P5XL, but it still is an XLT correct?

Also ordered some 87T plugs, have 97Ts and 99Ts in the bag if needed also.

Thank you for the smooth running motor....:)
