seems like it should work pretty good , constant pressure , might add another aspect to tuning that may or may not be a pain . another accessory to mount under the lid

Is 28002 the right turbo head for the Plus-4? If not what is and how many shims do I add or remove?

Ok I have a mill out getting modded, the recommended pipe for this mill is an 086. Now the modder says that I should get either a 053, 2035, 1005, 2060 ect now because of what he is doing. I am by no means questioning him just want to hear your thoughts. The reason I chose the mill as my 2nd was that it used the same pipe that I am running on my current mill.

i personally dont like EXTREME modding as some people do , if they know what they are talking about and have real experience with their mods then you will notice the engine run properly , if it becomes a pain , make them buy their engine back i would

n21b09 is supposed to be the new 3 port with the purple head , doubt there was any running changes from the limited besides the head but we haven't seen them in the us yet somebody needs to order them in

pipes are pipes , they work the way they are designed to work on most engines you put them on but there are some engines that dont like some pipes . and contrary to some peoples beliefs , you cant just throw a low end pipe on a 45,000 rpm engine that is designed to scream and expect it to have low end

as far as the new p5xl , it hasn't been ordered for us market yet either .

good to hear from ya again btw

Default Service A+++

Just want to thank you Monty for the call today. Two weeks ago Monty sold me a new P5xs. I am new to nitro and Monty spent a fair bit of time on the phone with me educating me and helping get the right engine for my use. The shipment was timely and he even shimmed the head no charge. I have pm'ed him a few times the past few weeks with more newbie questions and he has always replied with a smile and great info. I told him earlier this week that I was going to start the break in process today. Break in went well today. I got about 7 tanks on it to start the process. During one break my phone rang and it was Monty. He just wanted to know how it was going and if I needed any help. I was very impressed that he would remember that I was doing break in today much less his thoughtfullness to be sure I was getting along well with my new engine. This is service that is extremely rare in todays world.

Hey Houston, Thanks for the advice on the 21-5k thread! I got to try the 21-5k setup with the 086 dynamite pipe today with the 7mm restrictor. It ran beautiful all day long. It seems to have a little bit more power and smoother than my 2005 P5 with 8mm restrictor. Thanks for the advice!
