i use the stock 8mm insert on my bf. i'm not sure how much runtime you will lose by not using an insert since i've never tried it, but i'm probably averaging 9 mins or so with it on my 8ight depending on whether conditions and tune (couped w/ dyn 086 pipe). i ran it in my 8ight truggy 1.0 for while when i had it and it moved it around just fine on a smaller track. didn't get a chance to try it on a big track with the truggy.

my guess whould be about 8 minutes or so and i run on a big track without the insert in my eight 1.0 b it also depends on me how i have my low end tuned thats for sure

Crank & turbo cut way enlarged and polished. The crank seem like it wasn't done by the guy that did a very basic light flow porting, A little rough but didn't get carried away at all I cleaned it up by hand.

black case green head ? if it is a jp , its probably the old kangaroo engine

if it is the medial pro , its the m2k probably .

dont quote me on these though ;)

I likes me some power LOL!!!!!

Ok Monty. Right now I'm running a +4 in my MBX6T. Thinking of the FMS for it. With the +4 I can manage 11 - 12 minutes w/ 21 header and a 9901. What can I expect from the FMS and a pipe combo you recomend to start with. I love power and I love mileage. I know the two are evil cousins.

There have been some 12 min runs in the truggy with the fms 9853/41005 but on average ? NO. I would say you could expect 10min. With a proper tune , it will be a really fun 10min. Though :-) the fms stomps on the plus4 for power output forsure , and as with any engine the higher the rpm's the more fuel used .

Thanks Monty. The wife is looking for gift ideas and that suits the bill We will be in touch.
