If I can ever finally get the nursery painted, I will finally be able to properly break in my Houston Tuned N21BF Limited. I can't wait much longer. Have had this engine for about three weeks now and still in the box:cry:. From what i am seeing, looks like it's gonna be worth the wait though.

Well I tried the DYN086 today on my +4 and while ok as of right now the DYN053 is king. One thing I need to do however is go back down to a stock 15t from the 16t (Xray 808) I have on right now that I put on to tame the bottom some. It will really not be a fair comparison until then as the 086 just does not have the low/mid pull and on our short indoor track it did not act like it was really getting on the pipe. I will say that it was smooth however, a lot less wheelspin off of the line and out of corners, I just lost too much on the bottom for some short run-ups. Probably be better when I get to the outdoor track this weekend.

On another note I did some experamenting today with a 5.5mm and even a 5mm restrictor. The 5mm was a bit too much, but holy cow it was consistent as it really tamed the low end so very little wheelspin. I have run better times, but rarely have I run what were still pretty good times back to back. The 5.5 is actually close to ideal on our smallish indoor track, we really do not have any kind of a long straight and the run times went to 10 min+.

I am going to try the 086 again with a 15t pinion. It is pretty interesting messing around though, I could not believe the difference between the 053 and 086, night and day. I need to try a turbo plug as well just to see what the difference is.

Oh, this also tells me that I need to work on my throttle finger, it may be a wee bit heavy... :p:sneaky:

dude, lemme tell you what, that thing is a straight missile.......when I pulled the trigger today for first time I had a hella grin:smile: I like my plus4, but the tuned 3 port I think I'm going to like better....it has a way more aggressive powerband, I think it would be safe to say its the fastest engine I have ran to date:nod::tire::eek::cool:

testimonial after testimonial

I am in amazement how post after post there are people who , like me, have had their socks blown off by Monty's engines. I am SOOOOOOOO glad I didn't buy a GRP or buy an Ebay Novarossi!. Houston's Engine Service is the schizzle!

So you like this motor better than your plus 4? What engines are you comparing it to when you say it's the fastest? The reason I ask is that I need a new motor for my MBX6 and this motor is considerably cheaper than the others that I'm considering.
