I was at NC and was able to meet Adrien Bertien, and Paul King, they are both the best people!!! That blue headed Orion engine was a screamer on the 250 ft. back stretch it will be one strong engine that will find its way into one of my Kyosho's when it is released. :D

Anyone know the part number for the newer lowend needle and newer head button for the disco motors.
Pitpop ? |
ORI82178 new button and needle together as a kit:nod:

Is it worth to buy this Kit for a JTP Engine?
Which advantages can I expect? Tebo said in a Video that the neo Engine has that New headbutton + longer bottom end screw. Is it possible to install this Kit into the JTP engine? |
Yes u should buy it also might be good idea to buy the new rod dont know part number yet but is stronger than the old ones which some were having issues with
as for new head button and bottom needle will improve idle and tuning of engine I am going to buy two kits one for disco and one for jtp Newer discos will be coming with these parts i was told |
Hey guys I need a spring kit part number that fits the 2013 pipe. I know I saw it here but I can't seem to find it now. Thanks in advance.

sorry guys, there won't be any blue head Orion engine.. he was just running that to test the configuration. The new cut we will have, but the color will be red.
The needle and button set will work on the JTP, as the configuration of King/Tebo are the same. This button and needle are simply an option which gives the engine better tuning and power for American style tracks. That engine was originally run at that ginormous Pattaya track and bottom end smooth response wasn't too important, just power .. |

We are running the long needle. Cody likes the smoother lean mid range with the long needle.

Anybody know the best way to fix a nipple? Just took the 2058 out of my king worlds motor combo and the nipple was welded so close to the pipe the fuel tube wouldn't go on there and I pushed and pushed and could not get it to go on so I heated the pipe up really good to try and bend the nipple out some and as soon as I tried to ease it out it snapped right off

Just tried to help a friend start breaking in his alpha motor and could not get it to run. Upon close observation, we found the needles to be unscrewed all the way as this is how it came from the factory.I assume they vacum set the carb before it gets packaged. This seemed very odd so we put them back to the factory settings before attempting to start it. We then got the motor to fire but was not running correctly. We immediately shut the engine off and pulled the pipe to find the sleeve had been turned 90 degrees. I did not catch this when we installed the head shim since neither of us were sure where the alignment marks were supposed to be on the sleeve. Has anybody else run into this before?
