Always ran a 3 port i know one is 5 and one is 3 but what is the feel like. i guess what i asking is it just better to stick with the 3 port so confusing what should i buy thanks

The WC edition 5 port is going to make a lot of power, no doubt about that, but you can also use the smaller venturi insert, lower the EPA, and get stupid good mileage too. There are advantages to having an engine that makes a ridiculous amount of power, you can choke them down more.

I think it is time to start driving this bad boy.. Slow loops should be fun to start with..

BTW I am running the Discovery 5 port with a 2013, it seems to be real snappy right now, and it is uber rich.. I can't wait to start leaning this thing..

seems to have a big window on the bottom, 1/2 turn or so from too rich to too lean. they like 250's if you temp at all.

Engine finally broke in this weekend at the Missouri State Series opener in Jeff City.. Even though it finally brok-in it never seemed to get doggy like a lot of engines I've seen when they break-in.. This engine just dropped temp from about 245 ish down to 170 after 8 minutes of running.. I leaned the bottom out to get the idle back a bit, and lef the top in alone, and it was dialed for that tight in-door track.. I'll get a proper race tune on it before the next race, and report back, but I know it is going to be of the hook.. I'll be getting one of these for my Buggy, no doubt about it..

FYI I am running the 5-port discovery with 2013 pipe in a truggy..

A friend of mine just purchased this engine but it did not come with a plug. What plugs are recommended for theses engines?

The #5 or #6 as mentioned, but an O'Donnell 97 works nicely also.. FYI I don't think your friend will be as happy with that pipe as he might be with a 2013 or 2058..

Hey Guys. If you haven't seen this, there is a contest on Facebook to win a limited edition King engine/pipe combo. All you have to do is answer 3 questions and you could win. Pretty cool.

If you click on "View in Detail" there is a cool interactive page that you can check everything out that comes in the bag with the engine.

I'll give you a hint and say the brushless system is Vortex R8 Pro, and I'm pretty sure the engine part number is ORI80681, but your guess is as good as mine on the number of fans on the Orion page. good luck...

I've had a Werks B7 and 2 sirio Evo IV's and the rods would not interchange on them at all.. The werks had a much smaller crank pin.. Whether the Werks B5/B6 are the same sized rods as the Orions I do not know.. If you are considering buying an off brand rod consider the Nvision, as they are really really cheap..

Don't know about Werks but i'm fairly certain one can replace Orion conrod partnumber ORI81839 with Sirio Rod partnumber S21.070012 (STI racing conrod) or S21.070010 (racing conrod)
