As good as the old C6 ummm. The RB B9 same thing basicly and the new RB B10 Better than the old C6 has better block and better head for cooling everything esle is the same. Great powerband/ runtime always loved the Rb C6 line of motors. The cross 10 has Great power in a buggy reminds you of a C6 in ways and get better gass mileage due to being a 3 port instead of a 5port. Speedy

Been shopping the engine threads. What's the torque engine? Which ones are people usually running in truggy? Just need some info so I can do some research. Thanks!

im not sure, about the c6 i would think that would be a top end engine and a hobby 9 (s5) would be more of a torque and mid range engine . i run it on my truggy, but im still working on getting more torque so im proberty going to use a 53 pipe.

The C6/B10 has some Great power EVERYWHERE this is the most powerful engine rb makes. The cross 10 uses some port designs that the C6/B10 have but is a 3 port and Has some Great torgue. Id say go with the rb c6/b10 with a 2045 pipe and a 198 header that will give you some Crazy torque with great runtime in a truggy. If you have a light weight truggy and want more runtime go with the cross 10. I really dont think you can go wrong with either one they both have some Great torque, mid, and top RPM. Speedyrob

The RB B10 has tons of power.

What is The best pipe/header combination for the Cross 10?

aznitronut 08-29-2010 08:16 AM

As far as pipe and header, most all the RB engines, perform well with the RB 2045/192 header for mid size larger open tracks, if you are running on short, or tight tracks, go with the 198 header, it will give you more bottom end punch, when you really can't use top.

Thanks for your input and your time!

The 2045 is a good pipe for the cross 10. But if you want a motor that makes crazy RPM the novarossi 086 with a short L header will make the motor SCREAM. I really like the 086 when it comes to my Shark 9 ir the cross 10. Just rips everywhere in the RPM range. Just my 2 cent try it and see what fits you. Speedyrob

The cross 10, is the same as the shark engine, the shark is a 3 port with a C6 crank, the B10 is as close to a C6 as it gets, using the 2045 pipe, with the 192 header, for best performance, best fuel economy.

The Shark9 and Cross10 are NOT the same engines. Yes they are both 3 port but the Shark has a balanced crank and more aggressive timing. The Cross10 is just a standard bi turbo crank like a B10.

My bad, thanks Chris, I thought they were the same.
