i have a question, how know the runtime of a RB B11 in a buggy , and the runtime of the F11

I see you asking that quite a bit. I think there is no definitive answer. There are too many variables: track size and conditions, climate, fuel, plug, pipe, driving style, etc.. From what I have read and heard, the B11 should do better on runtime than the F11.. Whether either will match a Speed for ex. I don't know..

Having run both the B11 and the F11 I will say that for me and my track type and my driving style I get better mileage with the F11. I drive smooth and easy so the extra power the F11 allows me to drive most sections of the track with less throttle input, where with the B11 I find myself having to mash the throttle more often. If you always drive punched and use all of the power that any engine provides then you will get better mileage out of the B11. Like Savage said, it's going to all come down to the guy driving the car and setting it up!!

My friend brought a RB Black to my house today.
It has about 3 gallons on it, the front bearing was extremely worn out, and it had lost all it's compression.
The front bearing still had it's inner seal on it, so obviously it would get no lubrication, I think that's very bad by RB.

I understand that this is a cheaper RB engine that is made in Taiwan or China or something, and costs only €100, but jeez.. they could at least take the inner seal off the front bearings before they install them.

I really need your help on this...
I just bought a B11 and use the heat cycle method, for about 5 tanks.
Since then, I'm trying to lean it to run about 110° ~ 120° (always in Celsius) but, when you apply full throttle, the engine dies. It doesn't bogs or give any sign of a lean mixture. It just simply dies. It only runs if I keep the temperature about 85°C.

I am struggling with this for almost 1 gallon!
On my opinion, it seems that the engine didn't broke in yet... It is like the piston gets stucked at the TDC on high RPM range!
Any other thoughts? Suggestions? Magics?

Using Byrons 20%, Comp. Heater, 7mm venturi and RB plug...

2087 vs 2097 on a BX engine
 

Well just to report back. The 2087 did get better runtime for me vs 2097 on the BX engine. I was struggling on the 2097 running dry about 7:15 not being about to run 7 minute qualifiers without running out. With the 2087 no issues making 7 minute qualifiers, running to at least 7:30 during them with fuel still in the tank. Likely could go at least ~7:50 till dry. So I would pit at 7:30 easily during race conditions.

I used the same header on the 2087 that came with the 2097. I would have tried the 2045 but that pipe design where the set screw is makes it bulge out to much and rubs holes in my bodies on my car. Not enough room for that pipe.

If anybody is looking for a 2058 pipe, amain has them on sale for 24.99 no manifold, its an Nvision Pro pipe, with the beefed up stinger, its just like the Werks 2058 pipe.

RB V9 at amain.. Same as V8?... Also similar to a C6?

The Blast is nothing like. C6, the blast is a 5 port engine, the C6 is a 7 port engine, the only engine that RB has been made that actually is a C6, was the ,B9, B10, and the B11.
RB made a 5 port engine a few years back, but it was a sport engine, and I believe it had a 13 mm crank, instead of the new Blast has 14 mm crank.

OK guys, the RB Blast V9 has been knocked down a hundred bucks to $199 at amain!!.. I really want the V8, but if this V9 is identical, I'll order it.. So can somebody confirm if it's the same? Thanks...

actually the C6 is a 5 port......the F11 is a 7 port

I Am doing some research and the blast V9 uses the same internals as the C5 and C6 engines.............. for $187 this is a wicked deal..IMO it is quite mild stock, but turns into one of the best when modified !

okay my bad.... I see in another picture the Blast has a single exhaust port.................. which means it is definitely not a C6 base............ its very odd, but it seems there are several sleeves that come in these blast engines..... So without having one here I cant say what they are exactly
