Well. I'm happy to say they I've pretty much finished the break in on my Kanai edition RB.
It has been a dream. No flame outs and idles until the sun goes down. I picked it up when Amain had them on sale. I started running nitro as a second class to 1/8 electric mid last summer. I had a couple old GoTec engines I used for the remainder of that season. This RB has been great. Im actually looking forward to running nitro instead of dreading it. |
Engine Feed back
I am interested in the RB Engine. Is there a break down of what is current for a Buggy. I have been using Novarossi for a while. So OS.

There doesnt seem to be much on here about the 2015 range from RB yet, looks like nice improvements on already solid performers. Personally I'm stoked that there is a pretty standard LS5 in the range which was always great as the previous BX and later BXR LS5.
Weve got them hitting us in the UK today / tomorow so I assume most countries will start to see them making appearances soon. Bit more info on here, on road ones to be added to the site yet. http://answer-rc.com/uk/en/search?or..._search=Search RB Say: -The 2015 off-road engines line receive the complete new internal parts, carburetor, high level features, etc… to make it easier to use with great performances ! Also, the new line is easier to understand with two top level racing engines (1 Long Stroke and 1 Super Long Stroke) and the little brother which is great and with a friendly price level. There is also a new RB EFRA homologated pipe which is under production and will be available soon. http://answer-rc.com/uk/img/RBImages/rb-range-698.jpg |
Yeah. The new RB ones haven't made it to the states yet, but I am hearing nothing but good things from the team drivers running the LS5 plus.
|
What's the 2087 pipe like compared to the 2045? I don't care about run-time - just power.
|
I haven't used the 2045 yet, but the 2087 has very good bottom end and overall power on my buggy with the medium compact header. I have only compared it to the 2097 and a Nova 9901 and I prefer the 2087.

In France we have many topics on the RB products company closing definitely on last week's Thursday :(. Is it true ? Two guys at our club confirmed it this afternoon.

That to me looks like old news. They just released the 2015 engine line. Looks like they may have had to file for bankruptcy(due to one of their shareholders being bankrupt, apparently..), but will continue to operate. As many companies do...
Edit - Ah wait.. My French is ..... basically nonexistent. But I did have a little Latin in school. So at the end of that thread it does look bad.. That's awful... |
Unfortunately RB Products will closed definitely next monday and all products will be auctioned.
It seems that Rody Roem would like find a solution to save the RB name and engines... |
It would be great if Rody could get RB back upin the winners circle!!
