whats ur average run time with GX5R 8mm insert

for me, about 8min 23seconds! with a 053 pipe

7mm is plenty grunty for a truggy with the GX-5R. With 7mm and 2072 or 086 pipe you can get 10 min on most tracks.

I've been looking through the Go Tech engines and wanted to know if there is an engine that will drop in as a replacement for my Traxxas 2.5. O.S. has the .21TM and Dynamite has the .19T, so I was wondering if Go Tech had one available. Or if there's one I could use with minimal modification. Thanks!

I'm open to everything. But want something that'll drop in without pulling the dremel/drill out. What are the T-Maxx/Revo kits?

they are traxxas trucks, what car/truck are you looking to put a motor in?

Haha. Yes, I am aware of what the T-Maxx and Revo are. I thought you meant Go Tech has "kits" for these cars. I have a nitro rustler, but it doesn't matter. Any replacement engine for the 2.5/3.3 will fit. I.e. if it fits the T-Maxx/Revo, it'll fit all other Traxxas nitro vehicles...

Saw your Rustler on the other thread. It will always be a stadium truck and not a 2wd Truggy. Good for grins I guess. To be perfectly legal for racing, .12 displacement is the max. With a 75cc tank, I doubt you'll get much runtime with a .21 and it will tear up your gears and transmission.
