Well, AnswerUSA hasn't had any MG66 engines (not combos) in stock for many months. It would be nice to see some MG66X engines appear.
I really missed out when EBay listed some combo's for $249

Hi All
Ive asked a few of our Race team to chime in with their experience with the MG66 .21
What we hope to present is a no fuss straight up experience with the engine. And some helpful tech tips and tuning. The engine is very versatile and has what you need for most track conditions.
Here is the most recent result with the MG

Hi new user, welcome to the team.
The MG66 is a beautifull bit of work.
I'v been running it for quite a while now and I'm very happy to say the least.
My main drive is Truggy and the MG66 gets it up and going quite well, has great bottom end and heaps of top end. I get 10+ min runs quite easily and she never misses a beat.
If you want to ask anything in particular about the MG66 and 2072 please do.
Here's a pic of how much grunt she has

And so ya know its not a random thing and quite common, here's another

and

the engine/clutch etc I ran that week can be found on MassiveMods web site.

Here's a vid from that week also

Take note at how long it's on the track in a 10min qually, and it came in and sat idle untill I came off the stand and shut it down with just under a 1/4 tank still left

Hey Flanno
thanks for that ! Flanno is a guy that has a lot of experience with the MG in set up and squeezing every drop out of that engine. So he is a great point person to ask.
The other driver is Eric Lim, Forgive me if i get the info on him wrong . Its had to keep up with all the drivers using the MG .
RE the Worlds .. I dont care if the MG comes dead last ! My engine is running at the Worlds ! its been a dream come true since i was at the Worlds in Jakarta. Im there for the fun and to make friends with other people in the industry. And thanks in advance to the drivers that believe in the engine and indeed are getting great results out of it!

I've seen Mike's run real strong and a racing buddy got one that also put out major power. Unfortunately it dropped a glowplug coil with less than a gallon and self destructed.

i'm getting 9.45 minutes, average, a tank with the 8mm restrictor, (& arthritis in the trigger finger
) on our dusty track with a fat tune in my buggy on A-MAIN 25% fuel
the modded MG (needles, head button & pipe) in my truggy with 7mm restrictor is getting, on average, 9.15 min tank time & turns a lot of heads at race days, just a shame the truggy won't turn like the newer ones now, & i can't drive for s**t, but I have a lot of fun sticking with & passing toros running 30% on our back straight

Nice to have our own thread for this awesome engine..I bought one of the first from the factory direct from Mark at Massive and I just love this motor. After 2 seasons racing I'll never run another motor.
