well that was fun..trying to post here i crashed first opera then my computer and have now lost 5 years of R/C bookmarks.... all those useful sites I found gone..shit :flaming::flaming::flaming:

oh well I had a great weekend anyway and after a few weeks of slightly disappointing performance from my MG66 (nothing major just not as snappy as it should be..I was thinking it was just needing to loosen up the new piston set a bit) spotted the nipples on each end of my exhaust line cooler had unscrewed and so I was getting a tiny intermittent air leak..spot of tightening and a bit of threadlock and bingo..rocket ship back again...

hey guys,i just checked my engine this afternoon and found out that i can easily turn the flywheel on my engine by 1 finger with less resistance COMING on TDC,the engine has approx. 2 and a half gallons on it,is this a sign of having low compression?but the engine still performs well.

You can have it repinched for pretty cheap. 22racer on here does them for $37 return shipping included. I just sent in an engine to him this week. Hes also got a bunch of parts so if anything needs to be replaced he can do it for you.

What plug for a GO 5 port thats been modded by RB mods? I got it in a trade and trying to figure out what plug to use. He said he used Ultra Hot plugs but didnt specify what brand. Would this be the O.S. P3 plug? He did say it used a turbo plug

thanks

+1 on the 97T. The GO motors seem to really like these plugs, and value for money they can't be beaten.

just had a full day out. after 21 continous tanks... flamed once... temp 170F after last tank. had awesome power + a screaming top end motor: gx7r pipe combo.

ok, still have the lean issuse with the go 3 portr21, changed, tank, all gas and presure lines, sealed back plate and carb, changed plug, changed pipe to 086, and still have a lean issue, after running for about 5 minutes, give it full throttle and it cuts out untill i let up alittle and eventionaly will take off, it is not a tuning issue. i have tryed everything and is the same as it was before i changed everything, starting to get frustrated a bit. will a nova carb fit on this? if so i will try to see if that makes a differnce, any help would be great!!!
