To be honest I never been to a track to where I seen the 7 port stretch its legs all the way. Its an awesome mill just on smaller tracks I see no need. My 5 port needed tamed in truggy and buggy and I am just getting my 3 port set up right now 6.5mm restricter 70% throw both my mills are modded though. My 5 port I had 50% throw. The coating is Titanium nitride awesome stuff makes internals last for ever. Usually found on 4-$500 mills.

My web site is w ww.gligoco.com.br

The web site it's very simple, there isn't an E-shop, normaly who is interested in one of my products contact me by email ([email protected])...

I sell the GX5-R combo with 2072 pipe here in Brazil for U$480,00...
Unfortunately this is the lowest price that I can do. Here in Brazil the import taxes are very high, and everything that come from other countries became expensive... :flaming:

Well I just finished running in and tuning the 7 port engine in my buggy, and all I can say is: :D:D:D:D:D. Man this thing's got some legs!

It doesn't have as much bottom end torque as my v-spec, and to be honest I'm glad about it. The v-spec is just too much in the buggy.

The 7 port on the other hand feels perfect for it. I can't wait to get it on the track this weekend! :D:D:D

what is the coating on the crank? except for the crank and head that looks like my grenade, they have been out almost 6 months. great motors.

your caster grenade is made by GO engines so that's why it looks similar, I believe I read somewhere that the Grenade is a Gen 4 GO 5 Port, the GX line of engines end up being Gen 6 , but called GX, I suppose.

The GX series are still classed as gen5.5 the gen 6 series are not going to be released until some time next year at the ealiest, the only true gen6 that you will be able to get until then is the MG66.

the caster grenade is a gen4 so the crank, rod and sleave are all different maybe the carbs also

Can you tell me what makes the new 66 a gen 6 and the GX 5.5? It looks like the GX has the new drilled head, coated crank, new carb, and new rod and the 66 looks like it just has the new carb. Thanks

The new GX looks good, if they get the carb right it should be a good motor.

Who has the new motors in USA????

The Usa importer is supposed to get them the 2nd week in Aug. I am taking preorders if you want one let me know. Price hasn't quite been determined but It should be between $220.00-$240.00 map price.
I am curious to the timing changes they may have made. The Titanium nitride cranks on the Eb Go's definately helps, same stuff just gold instead of black.

Mark from MM would have to answer that 1 as he's the man that helped design them.

but I think I would be pretty safe to say that the pic shown is a preproduction sample maybe and that the MG66 will also come with a coated crank, as for the rod I can't see it in that pic but once again I'm sure the new 1 will be in there, if not a modded 1 at that.

hopefully Mark can shed some light on it for you

cheers Adrian

I do a timing change on my 5 ports that makes them more driveable on the bottom and give it more top end. Still has plenty of bottom to run in a truggy too. I only charge $15.00 to add it to a new motor and it can be changed back.
