Mark from MM would have to answer that 1 as he's the man that helped design them.
but I think I would be pretty safe to say that the pic shown is a preproduction sample maybe and that the MG66 will also come with a coated crank, as for the rod I can't see it in that pic but once again I'm sure the new 1 will be in there, if not a modded 1 at that. hopefully Mark can shed some light on it for you cheers Adrian The GX Range Gen 5.5 had a few people input into the design including Go Engine , Simon Yii , MassiveMods and some Key suggestions from associated parties. . My input was mainly carb , crank , and rod related . The Carbs will now have new Nitrile seals and double sealed HSN which will eliminate previous problems. The crank and rod tolerances have been changed over that last 3 months to handle the power these things put out. The MG 66 Gen 6 shares a lot of the refinements as id put these into place before they made my engine. Some of them the Go Factory included for me out of their own generosity. The MG66 however has a new sleeve design and port timing as well as a differnt crank balance. This is an exciting engine as its the first that Go Have made as a Factory Modified engine. The Modifications have come from my Research and Development over the last 12 months. The MG66 will include a Spare Rod , Rear Bearing and Carb Restricctor Kit. Whichever engine you choose to run you will be very pleased with its performance some pics below :) enjoy Now avail for international release Monday Cheers MM |

Mark, the cuts on the MG66 sleeve look really clean. It's amazing the quality you can achieve with modern tooling.
|
MassiveMods, is the MG66 going to be sold exclusively by your channel only? Or, are they going to be released in other countries as well?

No confusion there. Just some fraudulent seller on E-Bay talking bullsh-t. There have been no factory modified Go's until now. Straight up and simple

I could see maybe once happening on some freak deal but 2 cases? It almost has to be something causing this, motor hitting on the chassis or something. The Go's have a little thicker case in spots and I have had to clearance things once in a while. Which car is it in?
