i would call them gen 4, they have the same design, but the engines available in a week will have the old lsn, this should clear up any hsn issues, it allows a braoder tunning window allowing more fuel to be adjusted with.
this engine is being ran in a xray 808, by team driver Dan Reino, i have been out of town every weekend all summer doing big cars, but him and Jackie Woodard are both on my speed dial, they both run xray, and jackie runs truggy, using a PTM .25 the 7 port is not fully modded, at this we are just going a little at a time trying a few things that may roll over into the full modded PTM engines, so far we are liking the results. we are running byrons currently but i stongly prefer Tilted 30%, with a P3 plug and the GO FEMCA 0801 pipe, and innovative designs 6mm carb insert, and Dan is running the stock clutch shoe set up that the car came with, all 1.0 with alum shoes. i don't have a clue what his epa's are on the radio, sorry I will get Dan to post on here in the morning and give his opinion on the feel of the engine to this point, if there is anything he doesn't like he will state it, he is very honest on his input of the engines i provide him, he has done 90% of our testing on the PTM GO engines. |

I AM SO DAMN IMPRESSED!!! Just over 11 min. of run time!! Tons of Power!!! I have been a Vspec fan for the past 3 years, Bye Bye OS, Hello Go Tech!!!!! I never ran the older models that had Carb issues, but no problems w/ the '08 it holds a tune very well. Dan Reino Did you have you throttle EPA set 80% |

A friend of mine wants to buy two GO engines...one for a buggy and one for a truggy?
I own the 3 port R but i'm not impressed from the low end power although it has more than enough power on mid-high end:sneaky::sneaky::nod:. -For the buggy i was looking into the new 08' 5 port engine...have they upgraded the carb on this version...is it easier and better than the silver head 5 port? -For the truggy i need your opinion on the most powerful GO >.21. |
Is there a link to PTM? Tried to google it with no luck. Can't find a home page to Go Technology either. All I've seen are their .21's. Don't like the head color of the 7 port.
Also, any info on the JP4 combo? |

7 Port vs 3 Port R in buggy
I am currently running a 3 Port R spec in my buggy. I have done some practice on outdoor tracks, but primarily I run on an indoor track during the fall and winter.
How does the low end power of the 7 Port compare to the 3 Port R? I was thinking of trying the 7 Port, but I am afraid the low end power may be too weak on a smaller track. Is one easier to tune compared to the other? How does the runtime compare between the 7 Port and 3 Port R? I would be running the 0801 pipe. |

Also, any info on the JP4 combo? if your use to running a speed, the 7 port may be more to your liking, it has a linier feel compared to the 5 port, the 5 hit's hard and pulls with aggresion, the modded 7 hits harder but still has a smooth feel, and we are running the 0801 on it as well, with a inovative designs 6mm carb insert. If i can help with anything pm me anytime or give me a ring. |

In the video, is that a stock 7 port or one that has been prepped?
