Grizz, i am braking mine in today 08 7 port turbo

Bcruz, the 053 for sure, i am going to try the new GO 0801 this weekend on my 7 port, and i will post my thoughts. Chris Pace is reporting 12 min on the new 08 5 ports with the 0801 pipe, the header is long, so i am expecting good things on the 7 port.

Use an os A3, this is a hot plug if i remember right, your trying to lean it to get power and it won't with the GO 5, also what are your needle settings, you may be rich on bottom, fatten the top up to HSN flush and turn in the LSN using a hot plug, you should get better results.

Can you help me and tell me how much shims should I run with Turbo Plug?

Is The Novarossi C5TC Hot plug is goog for this engine or should I use another plug?

I running 7.5 Carb insert and I'm thinking to change for the 7mm, is this ok?

Best Regards,

The turbo button uses the same shimming, 1 silver 2 copper. It wouldn't hurt to run just one of each, the Go's have a little more clearance than a Novarossi. I have ran the novarossi #5 turbo plug and they work fine and fit fine. I prefer to run a Odonnel 97t, the nova plug seemed to not want to run as well if I had the tune a little rich.

Hey guys, I got my 3 port in today with 6 tanks through it. I have a question about con rod play. The conecting rod has probably .2mm thats point 2 mm of play in the bottom bushing where it connects to the crankshaft. I am wondering if this is normal on this engine. Also I have after run in it right now but would you guys recommend doing anything else to it before storing it till the winter? Thanks in advance!

Ben, stuff it with ARO and let it drain out, then store it, move the crank and piston to get the ARO all over everthing, and the rod is fine.
