Thanks Pete, back to ya.

Cheesecake, yes the 1005 is nice on the 5 port turbo, i havn't had a 5 port of my own in sometime, but the 7 port likes it as well, the new 5 ports with the updated cranks should really put out some top with that pipe without losing to much bottom.

cheesecake,
I've had good luck with O'donnel 77t , 97t and O.S. P6 turbo plugs.

ProTwister's the hook-up on the Go Engines.

whats the factory shimming on the .21 7 port(turbo). Is it one silver and one copper? then they give you another copper one in the box?

I got my engine back from russell (after he put the proper sleeve in it)and there were 3 copper shims in the engine with a silver and copper shim in the box.

Updated crank?? I just got one of these 5 ports. When did / is the new crank coming out and what are the advantages and differences between the old crank and new crank?

Every picture I have seen of a Go Tech sponsored driver, has had the sticker on the wing, so that is where I placed mine as well.

i have seen them in motors in the past month, where did you geys one or do you have one without?

this crank makes a smoother feel on bottom so you have more control of the bottom end grunt makes it more linier, and gives a moere mid to top pop

SqueegUK 04-17-2008 10:06 AM

I got mine a few weeks ago now. I got it from another bloke, but it was brand new and unrun and a £40 saving on new, so couldn't say no. I believe he had it for a couple of months prior to me getting it from him.

Must be the old crank then????

What have they done to the crank to make it different? IS it different timings or more aggresive cuts in it?
