Yes 2mm over ride height is a great starting spot!

If you have good forward traction but the car pushes on power maybe go 1.5mm.

Do any of you guys have the LRP USB Update Bridge Spec 2?

Looking to see if I can get my Flow updated to the new mod software for Saturday.

Thanks,

Kody

Default 5pm Start

A heads up for our racers. For the the next two months of races: January and February, we will be getting a 5pm start. That's an hour later than we have been starting most of our races before now. It should not affect our overall program too much. Our track builds quickly, particularly if everyone pitches in.

See you Saturday!

If I were to run a Mini with a silver can in Scale Spec, does it matter what speedo I use? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it does not matter. You can't do any crazy timing tricks with a brushed motor, can you?

Also, that reminds me, for visiting racers...

From http://seattlercracers.com/specsrules/:

"Traction compounds: Jack the Gripper, SXT 3.0, and Sticky Fingers. Tires may be cleaned with the allowed traction compounds, Simple Green, motor spray, or water."

This is important! Sticking to these sauces, which are compatible with each other, keeps grip high and consistent in the carpet. If you use something else, nobody may notice or say anything, but you may also end up ice-skating.

For the locals:
If you see someone using the wrong sauce, say something, and offer to share your correct sauce with them!

Nothing. Not a thing. No. These are not the droids you are looking for. Move along...

(Which is not to say I don't love a silver can, because I do! It's some of the best racing ever, and I miss it.)

Ahhhh yes. The black art of silver can racing. I could tell you secrets, but then I'd have to kill you.

I have always used the tire sauce in this case SXT to clean my tires and to keep the tire coated. Why is a person not aloud to do this? I am just asking to know.

He is saying you CAN clean tire with sauce, as long as its one of the approved sauces that we allow.. Like you couldn't clean tires with paragon then sauce with sxt
