Default droop settings..

a general question on droop settings,

i have 3racing blocks and droop measures. the droop gauge is

-10 -8 -6 ... -2 0 2 ... 6 8 10

ok, when in the setting data they say 2mm downstop then you should put the gauge to +2 or -2 ? for instance for the rear part in the setting data kyosho say 2mm downstop.

also if i am correct then droop settings differ according to tire diameter so it is not only the downstop settings.

-1st question: Whichever allows the arm to sag 2mm.
-2nd question: The droop setting doesn't change, just the amount you'll have after your tires get smaller.

my arms are angled up, they are 4mm above the chassis
so they sit on the 4 on the droop block

i use 63mm rear and 61 tyres front

Is this better? And what is the effect of having 2mm spacer under the pivot ball?
I have tried it. I have not had the chance to compare it to the stock in a back to back test. It seems to work well but I am using a slightly modified stock setup right now. It does add a little weight to the rear of the car.

As for the 2mm spacer, I find that removing it will increase the rear traction. I think it lowers the roll center.

i might haven't make my selft clear.. also i can not understand exactly you mean sag.. the 2mm of downstop in the settings data should be measure 2mm above chasis level or 2mm below chasis level? it is the way you read the setting data.

You said, your arms are angled up, right? Then set the droop so the arms sag 2mm below being level (arms not angled up or down). don't go, solely by what the droop gauge shows. As long as its 2mm below level (the gauge may say -4, -6 or +2, 0. Droop gauges will differ according to brand and type.)

Does drift wheel for the rear comes in various sizes i.e. 28mm 30mm or larger for 1/10 size GP?

if you have alot of traction you could try higher roll center, lower your shock positions(rear) what you are asking is pretty general neeed more info you want it more planted on off power,,, also what track conditions are you driving on...
