Hi Jeff
Sounds like your missing the castor clips. 2-3 mm play is way too much
you should have a bit of play maybe .5mm
check to see you have 2 castor clips on the upper arm. ive never seen that much play on the bottom arms. maybe you hsould try rebuilding the fornt end?
did you buy this car brand new or used?

I heard one time from a experienced person that this play helps stability in bumped tracks (like Jundai park in Sao Paulo).. but I don't know this deeply. Should I remove this play with thin shims or keep it?

I'm doing my car maintenance, and I'm having an another issue in the steering rods.
I mounted the steering blocks in arms and everything is ok, the movement is smooth when pushing it up and down, also when turning left/right. The problem is when I install the steering rods the movement starts to drag.. if I left in this condition will overload the servo.. I know this part must have a smooth moviment, but I'm not achieving that .. and I'm not understanding what is happening

are the rods hard to snap onto the balls?
do the ballends pivot smoothly on the balls?

Does anybody know the part number for the EVO conversion kit?
It's time to give it a try.

front bottom arm ear like part.. what is it?
hey guys
always wanted to know the true meaning and what these parts do to the setup.. im talking about the ear type parts that screw into the front of the bottom suspension arm. when you twist these up or down the suspension arm raises or lowers.
can i get a true answer about how to adjust these? thanks!

Those are your left and right eccentrics..these are used to adjust your downstops when setting up your car...they do not have any affect on the handling of the car...they are there to make it easier to setup the downstops and line evrything up....hope this helps....
