hey, i got the new rear hubs(v1RR) and i just realized i had to dremel some of the upright so that the rear tire rim would not be scraping the hub on the old hubs(i replaced both cause i realized that this weakens the hub making it more prone to breakage)

I realize that i can sort of "pop" my wheels outwards and gain about an aditional 10mm in width(which i dont mind ^^)

Do i need rims with 2 mm offset(i have rear universals with 2mm offset)

lol.. i bet this is and i just answered my own question ><

what brand of aluminum wheel hexes are you using? kawahara or 3racing style alum hexes eliminates this prob or the kyosho optional silver outdrives with spacer will help . du u have a pic of your rear hubs?

I don't use 3PKS, but just went on Futaba site and downloaded it. Took a glance, check p.74 of your radio manual... Throttle Mode "THMOD"

Hope this helps.

is the popping that occurs in my rear tires normal? ie: being able to pop the rear tires out and gain a few mm of width and being able to pop them back in

in a race which measurement would they take, popped out or popped in? lol sorry for the noob questions ><

Sorry, unfortunately I don't know enough about the RR to answer your questions.... but "popping" tires to alter track width???? No, that's not normal. Something isn't right.

u mean u can pop your pillow ball in and out of the swing arms hence altering the track width? then you need to change the arm.
