It looks like they should have names like Spike, Jaws, Killer, etc...

This is all that I could find in the thread...

Nimo:

I finally got around to running my RRR WC today.
Was not impressed with some bits, like adjusting the clutch, I tried the same way as on the FW05 but I could not get the adjuster to budge, so I had to keep taking the motor out until I got it to start biting, in the end I had to place a 3mm ball bearing in each shoe weight.
I ran the car as per instruction but with a spool up front (I'm just too brake happy), but I found this gave severe understeer in to the corners and then a sudden snap of the steering when powered applied, so I thought I'd put a diff in the front, but then came another hic up, I didn't have enough bits to make a diff, so I put the spare TCD in the rear with the black oil and tried the car again (still with front spool), the difference was huge, far less understeer (less than an FW05) and no snatch when power applied.
I've only done 6/7 tanks but I am lapping faster than with the FW05, and I have yet to find my ideal car setting (it's still a bit nervous).
Only thing to have peed me off was the pipe, a brand new Max Power pipe and the spring has already pulled through the hole at the motor end of the manifold. Why does they use such weak alloy? I will have to get a small jubilee clip to go around the header so I can attach the spring again.

Nimo:

The way it works in our cars is:
a) the very thin oil allows for a very loose diff off power preventing the rear from stepping out.
b) under load the plates in the diff tighten up to restict the freeness of the diff so trying to lock the rear diff under power to prevent diffing out, this also helps to prevent the rear from stepping out under power.

VZW009 - TCD Gear Set
Traction Control Differential parts feature bevel gears mounted in floating blocks to maximise power transfer when racing.

Nimo (continued):

I use the TCD in the rear diff (reduces power on spin outs) and 50k in the front diff but my track is mostly sweeping corners.

Nimo: (partial setup info)

Front Diff 50K, Rear Diff TCD with red oil

TCD' s are kinda like torsen diffs, they don't quite work the same as a torsen though. TCD's help to keep the wheel with the least amount of traction from unloading. I ran them sometimes in off road.

- I bet the RRR EVO doesn't come with that screw set!
- Anybody have a real sheet of Kawahara decals they can scan into their computer? I can use that little sheet that's posted, but the real thing would be good.
- I really like the white/yellow/purple/forescent pink paint scheme in these photos: Photo1 Photo 2
